The Wait for This Trigger Upgrade was Worth It
Bob the Bear (Katy, TX) 3/2/2016 3:11 PM
Received the PF-9 Trigger Kit (Anodized) within three days. I followed the excellent instructions and completed the installation within three hours. It took this long because I had to sand the sub-frame to allow more pre-travel and sound trigger reset. Per instructions, I wrapped 240 grit wet/dry paper around a Bic pen and removed about an 1/8 of an inch. No additional adjustment was required to insure pistol functioned properly. The result was a smooth consistent trigger pull and break with little or no over travel. Pre-travel was 1/8 of an inch. Trigger pull weight was unchanged at six pounds. The kit was an excellent value. What an improvement. Thank you
Major improvement!

Don't think twice about this trigger just buy it! It took me a total of 20 minutes to install. Luckily I didn't have to sand anything. The initial feel of this trigger makes it feel like a completely different weapon. Thanks for a awesome trigger!
Great Trigger!

Installation was a snap. The trigger fits like a glove and gives my pf9 a great new feel. I cant wait to take it out to the range.
Very Nice

Waited for the black version. Took 2 hours start to finish. Couple hiccups but nothing to do with the trigger (roll pin holding the spring into the hammer spring retainer went FLYING when I was trying to put it back in). Everything went in smooth, no sanding or anything like that needed. Although I had the newer style PF-9 with the barbed trigger pin, and had to cut out the plastic trigger. But that was also mentioned in the guide. Very very nice improvement!
